The new Version 8 update of WHMCS recently got a new look and feel, which means that some settings/functions in the dashboard have moved. It’s worth documenting this given all new Domain of One’s Own schools will receive this newer version of WHMCS by default. If you’re an existing DoOO institution, we’ll be working to get your version 7 of WHMCS updated over time, and reach out to us if you have any questions about that timeline.

Adding new administrators to WHMCS now looks a bit different in Version 8. (Existing institutions with Version 7 should will refer to this documentation.)

Log into your WHMCS Dashboard, and hover your mouse over the wrench icon on the top right of the screen:

Click Manage Admins:

Enter your credentials when prompted, and from there you can click Add New Administrator like normal:

Fill out the following form with information about the new user, make sure you select the Full Administrator role,  and click save:

Full release notes for WHMCS Version 8.0 can be found here.
